In 2008 OptimusLaw celebrated its 10th year online. In December 1998, the company's predecessor Pennsylvania Lawyers Online, founded by it's current President, launched PaLawyersOnline.com, the first online lawyer directory utilizing display ads and a familiar yellow page design. PA Lawyers Online was an immediate success in Western Pennsylvania, the market that it initially served. Between 2000 and 2001, PA Lawyers Online expanded geographically offering its services throughout Pennsylvania. During 2002 the web site's name was changed to OptimusLaw.
